Emily and I have been doing our best to push out our content and to push our outreach. Originally we planned on making one shared account for everything but then we realized we could fit into different niches on social media platforms. So we have our personal accounts and shared accounts, when at the end of the day they are all shared. Emily manages her website, her personal accounts on LinkedIn and Instagram. Then she manages her book accounts on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Emily and I both manage the nature channels together, with her usually making the posts and I editing them. The Nature Cut can be found on Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok. We together also film and edit our Vlogs that can be found on YouTube! Next, we share a BTS or production TikTok with some of our favorite social content that's not tailored to the other channels. With another account on Instagram that's tailored to our photography work that I manage. I also manage my website, my personal accounts on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube; plus gaming accounts on Instagram and TikTok.
We've gotten a like from LUMIX or better known as Panasonic on our Nature Cut TikTok. We have edited and uploaded several hours of vlogs that document our last three Christmases together. Plus the growth and transformation of our apartment over that time. I had 14,000 views on my main Instagram account alone this past month. On the gaming Instagram account that I manage, featuring both Emily and I, I had +128,350% growth on views. Plus reached 4,000 views with 7 followers and the account only being a few months old. Our vlog YouTube channel with 17 subscribers has 1,100 views on a short post, and 1,600 on another. My personal YouTube with 14 subscribers a reel just reached 660 on my fourth day of making posts. On my YouTube I reached 1,300 views in 4 days of posting shorts and increased my monthly view percentage to +6,214%. We have been contacted by several different photography accounts asking for us to sell our photos on our Nature Cut accounts. That skims over some of the past month's hightlights alone!
Here soon we are going to start selling ads and making decent money off of our views and growth. Plus, we are about to be part of the Short Sweet Film Festival here in Cleveland. While also having two short films screening at CIFF 2026 that they titled Oscar qualifying work; Emily was DP on one and I was on the other! We had big parts to play in these films and wore many hats. We are grateful to get recognition for our work! Lucas + Claire, and Love in The Lanes are those two films that made it in both the film festivals, plus Lucas + Claire is opening the Short Sweet Film Festival! Lucas + Claire won best Director / Writer and best Lead Actress in the CSU 2025 student showcase. Elliot Lanzer, the director of Lucas + Claire is also hiring Emily and I to shoot his graduating thesis project this March! Lastly, Short Sweet also accepted a film I was the lead actor in titled Needle Drop. I will be part of a panel over the film and the crazy process of making it, so keep an eye out for more details in the future.
